Depends if your on the same exchange - for example I was on the same
exchange but because I was on the old analogue service part of the
exchange they could not transfer the number as they put me on the
digital part of the exchange.

Kind Regards,
Chris Bond

the same area

Hi I want to re-locate a BT number to a different address in the same
STD code but it will be in a different exchange, does anyone know if
this is something that BT can do (each time I ring them to ask I get a
different answer) ?

John
