You need an analogue capture card (or a TVCard - but make sure it supports<= BR> full field
capture) like the Pinnacle DC10+, some MPEG2 compressing software (i.e.
TMPEGEnc) and
some DVD Authoring/writing software. You'll also need a fair amount of free=
disc space
probably about 10gig or so for feature length movies.

Capture the movie from tape by playing it into the capture card, then
compress it
using TMPEGEnc and then load the mpeg file into the DVD Authoring/writing software
and burn to disc.

Make sure your wharedale can play DVD-R discs .. mine is the original 750 and it can't
I'm not sure if the newer ones can either. A good replacement (cheap) that<= BR> CAN see DVD-R
and also plays MP3 VCD SVCD XVCD miniDVD CD-R CD-RW is the "Yello"= ; which
costs around
=A3128 (it also gets good reviews from HomeCinema etc)
