I was down at Phase 3 hi-fi on Saturday, and asked if they ever got them in= .

He said, no... 8s and 9s sometimes, but 10s never for two reasons:

- the 10s are so good at their price point, people have to make BIG jumps u= p to stop using them

- upgraders tend to hang onto power amps for other channels / rooms

He suggested the new Arcam stereo power amp at about =A3300 for your requir= ement.

Does anyone know of an Arcam Alpha 10P (thats the 2 channel power
amp) for sale anywhere? They stopped making them over a year ago and
nobody seems to have them in stock at all. I would expect them to
turn up on loot or ebay from time to time, but have not seen any
there. Please let me know graham @ solarfish . com if you happen to
spot one. New they were about =A3600 so I would expect second hand to
be no more than half that.
