Amar

Have a look at

<http://www.solargard.com> www.llumar.co.uk <http://www.llumar.co.uk>

We are approved installers but do mainly automotive vehicles. They are a
very high quality film and should be able to put you in touch with a
flat glass installer.

We do do some flat glass installs but mainly larger work. Just finished
Jamie Olivers kitchen actually. ........ Name dropping!

Many Thanks
Rob

Patrick could you please tell more about "skin the
inside of the windows with security film"

What is this and how effective ?
I have 40 panes of glass to one sash window
and i have 4 sash windows in the lounge alone.
I first thought that i may need to replace all my windows
with shatter proof windows which would very costly.
So looking for my options on that.

Nasty situation, my sympathies!

First thought regarding CCTV - where will the camera be sited? The
image from 3 stories up is going to be small, and will probably film
the top of peoples heads which is perhaps not terribly helpful in
making an identification - a camera at street level is a really a
must. Built in infra-red illumination for night time viewing is also
unlikely to be effective over that distance - so may need to consider
supplementary lighting. Generally B&W cameras work better in low
light conditions than colour cameras.

Perhaps more importantly, for your own safety, you should skin the
inside of the windows with security film. A glaziers or security
specialist such as Banhams should be able to provide further advice.
