The other thing which would be useful is to allow a pre-recorded program
to be archived to VCR/ (insert your preferred recording media of choice
here) while also watching another programme.... but again, this requires
having 2 mpeg decoders, which the current Tivo & Sky+ boxes don't have.

At the moment, if I want to archive some Tivo shows to VCR I put it on
the small tv and watch a DVD through the main one.... :) I really should
mess around with stream extraction a bit more, but some of the stuff is
to pass on to techno-challenged friends/ family, who can work VCRs, but
not much else..... :D
