I am sorry if this is late!

I would say that the TM13U is too far away from the LM12U.  My guess is that
the CM12U is seeing the A7 command and then transmitting the A2 on command
which is received by the LM12U as it is either closer or is transmitting a
stronger signal.  Try moving the TM13U into another socket to see what
happens.
