Re: best method for cabling

Hi

That would be me then !

Moved in about 7 weeks ago now. It took some effort and a visit to the MD at
head office, but I was aloud on site having signed a disclaimer and having
my own insurance (although they never actually checked !). I had five days
access at first fit (second fit was done when I moved in). I installed lot's
& lot's & lot's of cat5 as advised on the list, as well as CT100 coax,
speaker cable, Alarm cable, & CCTV cable. The only thing I wasn't allowed to
touch was the mains although it was agreed that there electricians would
wire every light in the house i.e. switch to fitting via the loft so I had
access to add X10 after I had moved in. I also hid some twin and earth in
places I forgot I needed sockets and then wired them into the ring when I
moved in !
