RE: Classic Pronto vs ProntoNeo



It seems that the guys in Philips and Marantz new product development are poles apart!

 

The guys at Marantz seem to sit down and think “what can we do to increase the appeal of this product?”

 

While the guys in Philips seem to think “what can we do to marginalize the product, so we have to sell it at a vastly over-inflated price in order to re-coop our development costs”

 

All you have to do is look at the Pronto-Pro and Pronto-Neo, and compare them with the RC-5200 which should hit the streets sometime in May.
