I missed that - care to repost Tim?

Partly for WAF and partly not to have to faff about with navigating screens,
I try to use the hard buttons as much as possible.
Main viewing in house is SKY via amp, so vol up/down/mute _always_ control
said amp functions (unless it is the TV device selected, in which case they
control TV).
Channel up/down change SKY channels (except if using TV again) and hard
buttons depend on device - for Amp or SKY they do cycle thru SKY favourites
& select the channel listed, on VCR they do play/pause etc.....
That way for most everyday use, even SWMBO can use the thing.
(though she stll prefers to hunt for the original remote & use that!)

soz m8 -sounds like the screen is buggered, or maybe there's a loose contact
between the LCD and the PCB?
Just coz _you_ didn't drop it, doesn't mean someone else in your house
didn't!
