Hmmmmm thanks for the info Des but I must admit them not being a bank worries me as I would be talking about transferring every penny I have !
 
I guess the banks are at least safe even if they are a bunch of crypto facist b******s (always wondered what that meant ;)

I have used http://www.currenciesdirect.com/ before for quite large sums,
and I don't have any complaints.

But, be warned, they are not a bank, so there is a risk that if they go bust
midst transaction you will be stuffed :)

I must admit I was shitting myself between sending my sterling and getting
confirmation from the bank in NZ of the Dollars arriving.

Minimum transaction size is 10 grand sterling.
