As I said, I tried two AGP cards a GE Force 2 and a Voodoo 5500, both
with the same result on two motherboards :-(

Funnily enough, if I pull the power to the CPU fan nought happens and
usually that causes the PC speaker to go mental but nadda with both
boards, so my assumption is that the CPU is toast! Shame it was a nice
Athlon 1.4G that was doing a nice job.

There is an upside to this of course...it means I go and get a nice new
Athlon 1900+ in my main machine for games and work etc. and the older
Athlon 1700+ goes into the server :-)
