Linux Video / TV Capture

Hi all,

I'm sure this has already been covered, but does anyone have experience
of using a vide capture card / tv card under linux ?

The reason for the question being that whilst many of the TV cards all
use the same chipset, normally brooktree, which is supported under
linux, problems arise with the control of the tunner.
