Graham

The standard DDAR/Rio sever software doesn't support this.

JReceiver, however, supports transcoding of music streams into a format that the receivers (with a slightly modified kernel image) can use.

JReceiver runs on Linux _or_ Windows 2000 servers.

JReceiver's not for the faint-hearted (you'll have no trouble, but I think the documentation needs more work on the Windows side ;-) )

Regads,

Mark

Sorry if I missed something, with all the recent problems I've had
with e-mail it's more than likely, but do I take it from this thread
that it is possible to stream to RIO Receiver/DDAR? If so then what
is required and is it possible in a non-linux environment?

Regards

Graham
