Hi all,
I have massively had the P*ss taken out of me at work because of my
clothes. I was wearing jeans a rugby shirt, which is OK, but the
reason for the piss-take was that the rugby shirt was a Veuve
Cliquot
(the champagne manufacturer) one, and everyone thought this too
posh..
Clearly, I'm working with a load of uncultured oiks
;-)
So, and in the light of my eMail server being off-line, some
questions:
- Do UKHAers drink champagne (if so, which
brand)?
I only drink three things - lager, gin
and
tonic or shampoo. My faves are
Widow, PJ or Bolly.
- Do UKHAers have a casual dress code at work?
- (and if so, would you wear such a garment?) :-)
We did last time I went to work - and
no,
I'd wear one at the weekend, but not to work, not because I’d have
been
accused of being too posh (in a dealing room), but because there are
already
enough reasons for them to take the piss – I wouldn’t want to
give
them another – and branding would be too easy J
