Hi guys,
I found this interesting project by GKDesign when searching for inexpensive wireless RS232 solutions (any info/suggestions would be great) for the barcode scanners I acquired. It's a laser transceiver project using a laser pen, some ICs and a photodiode. Here's the link: http://www.geocities.com/SiliconValley/Lakes/7156/laser.htm I sent them an email today, asking them if this principle is viable for Category 5e Ethernet. If you have an opinion or thought on this matter (or other related subjects) feel free to reply to this message. Adios.

Many thanks in advance,

Lee Edward Causier.
