Yes ... I also remember when a packet of crisps was 8p, a battered sausage
from the chippy was 12p and petrol was about 50p a gallon however I don't
remember having a computer at that time - nor were computers even
available - which explains why we used to drive our parents mad by playing
out by the drainage ditches!
