Guys,

I am now get close to being sorted. I have the network running, I am using a Linux box as my main server, doing Print server, File server, backups and DHCP. As well as routing. I am looking to also us it for DNS. I will be installing Smooth wall and then connecting via HH to the internet.

Two things now come to mind and will need sorting before going live.

  1. How can I protect the nephews from dodgy internet sites. I would like to do this at the Linux box so as not to install software on all attached PC’s. I know that there is no way to stop it completely but there must something I can do.

  1. Should I use NTL and a cable modem or stick with HH and Channel bonding ?

TIA.

Paul
