Re: Bloody BT!

Yep. It's basically £40 a month.

You pay your £20 a month to BT for their Surftime 24x7 package, then the
rest goes to Demon for the ISP side of things.

It galls me utterly to be paying more for a single 64k channel than some
folks do for 512k but then, thats life..

Ian.

How much is this Ian? Last time I looked it was 40 quid a months for their
true always on service (maybe that was 128K though).

I was with Demon many years ago and they were undoubtedly the best ISP I
ever had. I only left when the FreeServe 10 quid a month deal started.

One word guys... Demon.

And I quote "you can stay connected from now till Christmas, we don't
care,
thats what it's there for"

Demon have been reliable, stable and fast, on the odd time where they have
had problems, resolution is in the order of minutes, not hours...

The *only* teensy bugbear was them killing the 128k bonded service, and
not
replacing it (yet)

Still, a million times better than BT Internet/Freeserve/PlusNet

Ian.
