I also received 'that' letter today... it was dated 17 Sept and told me
that
I must change numbers within 10 days of the date of the letter.

I have already been trying the new number... results to date are not
encouraging.  During the day, connections seem 'fine', but last night at
around 1900, it took 15 attempts to connect and agree protocols etc.  I
connect via ISDN so the 'setup' is nearly instantaneous... but it took over
3 minutes to get connected as the number was dialled, then hung up,
redialled etc.

Regrettably, broadband is not an option here (even if it were, I would need
to change my ISDN line back to analogue!).

I should stress that these are my personal comments and should not be taken
as representing the views of my employer.
