Mark,

I was thinking of getting an adjustable light/dark switch from
http://www.quasarelectronics.co.uk/
part No 3079A (£6.95) and wiring it to
my gameport. I have written a small app to 'listen' to the gameport and
pass
on/off's to HomeSeer as X10 commands.

Of course, if you don't use HS then it wont be much use.
