not sure if now is the best time to go contracting, unless of course you aren't in employment right now in which case go for it.
 
Basically get your CV up to date and register it with several of the sites specialising in contract work, unless of course your skills are very specific in which case you may want to track down any specialist agencies dealing in your area of expertise.
 
I have been on one contract for the last 5 years so I am afraid I don't even know what the latest websites are but I am sure others will help.
 
The key thing is to get interviews and by getting them get an offer, the first step is a good snappy CV. All the rest of it can come after, first get the work.

            I believe that several of you are contractors and I am looking to become one. I have over ten years in IT and wonder what’s the way to go about it.
