FWIW I can't see the building hosting my DSL
base
station from my house. Mind you if I stood on top of the 20ft pole to
which my reciver is mounted (35 ft ground to top), then maybe I would be
able to

:-) But
I'm not too hopeful, there's no wiew of any significant
remote
buildings (apart from the Canary Wharf tower) from our house, I
recall reading that the base station is at Guy's
Hospital.
