Indeed, but my car is less than 2 years old and the ECU is mapped for
Super Unleaded fuel (97 RON) ;) Anything less and it will be knockety
knock and blown engine :( Also, did you know you can run on lead
replacement fuel in any car without any long term problems.  Sure, the
Lambda sensor won't work very well while running on LRP but, 2 tanks of
unleaded after, it and the cats will be fine.

In fact Rolls Royce run 2 tanks of LRP through their engines when new as
customers complained about the sickly sweet smell of unleaded fumes once
catalysed by new cats.

P.S.  I am very interested in Shell Optimax - reputedly 98.6 RON average
