Chris

If using Comfort and starting from the default file then downstairs is A, upstairs is B and outside is L.  This will save a LOT of reprogramming Comfort responses.  I have used all 16 A codes though so things are a bit tight downstairs.

Subject: [ukha_d] Views on X10 Addressing

I am just about to fit my X10 applicance / lighting / din modules at
home and I am interested on peoples views as to the best addressing
scheme for house and unit codes.

I have Comfort installed, and I know it will expect to see certain
house codes for different parts of the house, unless I start
modifying the default responses.

Does anybody have any strong views on house / unit codes i.e. one
house code for upstairs / downstairs, or maybe one per room etc.

Many thanks

Chris
