Definitely heard the cash till going there !
You can definitely get the cable costs to less than 1000 Pounds (Off the
top of my head), which then only leaves the Hourly Rate.  I live in the
South of England, and yet can still get a sparkie at about 10 Pounds per
hour.  If installed during 1st fix of a well designed/managed build, it
should be relatively quick (days not weeks, for cabling, terminations
excluded).
I'd suggest pointing out exactly what cable-types you want, and use some
of the specific options emailed here, and ask them again to provide several
sparkies quotes.
