I used a couple of 10 quid cards & also other cards i have had given with no probs. Your best bet is to ask on the forums at www.e-smith.org

Just installed e-smyth but it doesn't seem to have support for the NIC I'm using (3Com 3c509b).

 

I'm using the latest version ISO - am I limited to the short list of drivers shown?
