I have learnt a lot from reading replies to other peoples' questions and
personally think this would deprive the group of a lot of knowledge - which
is why we are all here. If there is a topic which I think will not be my
"kettle of fish" I simply hit the delete key.

Just been talking to Mark on irc.
I came up with this, not perfect but an option maybe.
The group can be set up so any replies go directly to the sender of
the original message, not back to the group.
For off-topic posts this would be what we want.
For anything on-topic, that you wish to post back to the group, you
would have to CC the group address.
Any thoughts?
Steve
