XP (like Win2k) checks the scheduled tasks on the remote machine before
listing.  Homeseer/watcher *could* be confusing XP with various schedules.
I think there's a way to stop XP checking ... unfortunately, I'm not sure
if
this works with WinXP, but it does with Win2k...

Locate the following registry key

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\
Explorer\RemoteComputer\NameSpace

Delete the {D6277990-4C6A-11CF-8D87-00AA0060F5BF} sub-key to disable
checking for scheduled tasks.
