getting right on my tits - is it keeps losing programmes, playing the wrong
one, or failing to record at all - with a no signal error.

Yes, so is Tivo. But, once you've used it for a week or so you wouldn't
part with it.

Na, the biggest problem is actually the broadcast companies mucking
around with the schedules, running late etc. this is particularly bad
with the BBC channels but not with Sky/ITV Digital or the commercial
stations in general. I must admit it pisses me off when I miss the last
two or three minutes of Top Gear or Film 2001.
