I didn't know that rental stores did that as I have not been in one for
10 years or more!

Personally I prefer having an original copy of any (particularly games)
simply because I do, but it really hacks me off when you get a =A340+ game
and get bored of it in a couple of hours - I'm just a big kid! :-)

IMO, if the software houses charged "pocket money" prices for
software
then it would kill a lot of piracy, after all, if you were faced with a
pirate copy for a tenner or a genuine copy for =A320 then I would plump
for the genuine every time. It's when they charge =A344.95 for a new game
that little Johnnie wants every other week that encourages piracy on
consoles in particular as many people cannot afford to pay that much.
Just my opinion of course.
