I've just installed the new Lucent Orinoco
Silver
card (in my laptop) and I can report that it is night and day better than
the
Linksys WPC11.
The linksys can LOSE connection just two rooms
away
from the Access Point (LinkSys WAP11). In the same room the Orinoco
shows
FULL STRENGTH connection. Walking round the house the Orinoco gives
great
service EVERYWHERE.
I'm really pleased now. This concurs
with the
opinions on www.practicallynetworked.com
that
the LinkSys WAP11 Access Point is great but the PCMCIA card
SUCKS!
