Having a 266 FSB doesn't necessarily mean using DDR memory. It depends on the motherboard you want to use.

Thinking about a new Athlon 1.4 and board (to build a ShowShifter machine).
 
1.4 Athlons seem to have 266 FSB.  Does this require DDR RAM?  Is DDR RAM 266Mhz?  Can you use PC133 RAM?
