Got the keyboard to work but no joy with the mouse, tried several different ones but still nothing.
Do you know if its possible to make up an adapter that will work.
Funny thing with the keyboard it wasn't dead it just boots up without the num lock led on.
The hall cupboard is humming now, four rack mounted PCs it sounds like its going to take off with all those fans, still we shouldn't need the heating on this winter.

keyboard yes ... mouse not necessarily.

The keyboard will definitely work through an adaptor but only certain mice will work with the Mini din - 9 pin D type adaptors.

Can I connect a PS2 mouse and keyboard to an older PC using mini din adapters to convert to the D and din connectors.
I've just connected up like this via a KVM switch and it doesn't seem to work, when the selector is on to the older PC the keyboard goes dead and the mouse does not work.

Thanks
