Personal opinion obviously....
Never been much of a fan of the gas ones, - I don't think the results taste
the same (my parents have had several gas ones). Plus I just >know<
that it
would be just my luck that the gas would run out just when I'm half-way
through the steaks!
In the "normal" charcoal variety, I've had several in the past,
including
the built-in brick ones, and several freestanding types.
The current one is the Homebase "Party Barbeque".... and it's
'king huge!!
- excellent for large gatherings! - it's made of considerably thicker guage
metal than the majority of the freestanding ones, so I expect this one to
last a good few years. The actual cooking grills are monstrous great lumps
of metal! - 2 of them, each about 4-foot long, by 1 foot deep.
It's currently going for £89 at Homebase, and it's the biggest freestanding
BBQ I have ever seen!
