Well, it started off as an idea to have the keypad mounted in a 2-gang
socket
mounted lenthways, but then I thought it could quite easily be done
horizontally too.

It then struck me it might be a good idea if all the devices shared the
same
form factor, using industry standard enclosures and mountings where
possible.
