Jon,

Providing that the electrical connections and wiring are correct and the
earthing fully connected there is no problem with mounting the LD11's in an
IP65 box on the external walls.

Technically all external electrical devices should be protected by highly
sensitive switching devices, such as RCD breakers. These give extra
protection to places where water ingress and personal contact with
electricity is common place, eg lawn mower electrics or the plug running
the
still in the garden shed.

Subject: [ukha_d] Outside Consumer Unit

What are the options available for mounting an IP65 consumer unit (with say
3/4 LD11s inside) on an outside wall? What are the legalities or other
wise?

Any help at all would be great.

Thanks.

Regards,

Jon
