Depends if you have a Pronto, can find a CCF for the TV and have an inquisitive mind.  Manager specials at Currys tend to mean sold as seen, remote and instructions missing.  A missing remote would certainly me off buying one.
 
You could always watch the match down the pub!

It is an Philps integrated Digital TV, 100Hz Pro-Logic. They offer 1 year
guarantee in your home. Coverplan stuff is £109 for 3 years. I'm not too
fussed if it is scuffed because I would probably do that myself :-) I
haven't had a look at it yet but may take a run up at lunchtime.
