I know only >too< well how you feel, - every time I come up with a
new idea,
it more often than not gets poo-poo'ed, even when there's no downside to
it!
I say to her:
"But you can still operate it the old way..."
"You don't have to use the automated control if you don't want
to.."
"You don't have to watch/listen to it if you don't want to.."
The latest battle is "You don't need to browse the web from in bed..
that's
stupid"
To which I can only reply..... (insert suggestions here)...
