Whether a low-voltage lighting system would work with an LD10 or not
depends largely on the design of the LV transformer component. The LD10 is
designed to work with these low-voltage dimmable devices but there are
many different designs around. Some are well-designed and would work fine
with the LD10 and conventional dimmer units but there are others that are
not suited to be dimmed or generate sufficient interference to attenuate
the X-10 signal.
