Ahhh, that will be me then.......

There are a couple of flavours. The 'all in one' which has the transmitter
and receiver all on one board and the 'normal' variety where the
transmitter
is on one board and the receiver on another. These can be mixed and matched
at will. They all run on 12 volts and use one bus wire to communicate. I'll
dig out some pics and send them to you with more of an explanation of how
they work.

I am hoping to test a design with some feedback protection built in this
weekend but with kids nothing is certain. This will prevent transmission in
a room being picked up by the receiver and then retransmission happening -
instant loop. Having said this the IR LED's are quite directional and
careful positioning of the Tx and Rx solves the problem as well.
