Re: Remote codes for Response TV4000 switcher
Graham,
The main importance is to use a notation and to stick to it for all
audio/video etc. I have not put the 12v camera power supply through cat 5,
the power supplies are local to switching box or connection box for
standalone cameras.
If you do wish to send it via cat 5 on a single cable you could use the
blue/white cable for +ve 12v (red) and the solid blue connected to -ve
(black). Be cautious with your patch panel connections especially if the
cctv is different.
I have made comments below against your wiring, I try to maintain striped
cables as +ve, solid cables as -ve. Remember colour will degrade quicker
than B&W over long cables.
