I have comfort - but to control it would
need an IR module to control it or an x10 interface for the x10 system -
either which is excessive.
And as for the push cathc - that's a
nono - the doors will have a very thin edging to go over the gap between
the door and frame (like a picture frame) - so you couldn't push it in, as
it would be flush.

Do you have Homevision or Comfort,
if so then how about getting them to open it via infra red command, that
would be very cool. Alternatively how about one of those momentary switches
(sometimes called bell push or push to make). Finally you could dispense
with the electronic solution completely and use the magnetic 'push' catches
that are often found behind the glass doors on TV cabinets, this would
allow push+hold to close, push+release to open with no visible
handles.

Hi
I have a hidden cupboard with all my AV gear. There will be a side door,
but as it's all in white, I want to not have handles to open it (grubby
marks, etc - and look sbetter !). RS have some solenoid actuators I can use
to open to door electronically (a little push rod when sent a
voltage) - but what I now want is a little touchpad you can press with your
finger and can relay this voltage to the actuator...
Anyone got any ideas on where to look ?
Thanks !
