Sounds odd... dyndns works fine with me (http://zz9.dyndns.org/) - Works for
pretty much everything, web servers, ftp servers etc.  Are you running
Direct Update (http://directupdate.free.fr), or
WinIP or something on your
machine? (although I don't think you need those to access the box, as far
as
I know, they just update the dyndns site with your current IP).

Might be worth trying dnsQ or one of the other services and seeing if you
get better luck? (I've been lucky but I know people who have had real
problems, and only solved them by creating a new account on dyndns).
