I recently decided that I really should put my old Palm III to some good
use. (It had been sat at the back of my desk for about a year!), so I was
looking around the PDA section of TUCOWS to see what cool apps I could find
for it, and I came across this link:

http://www.tapspring.com/

This looks like a pretty cool use for it!

Have you ever seen the 007 series movie "Tomorrow never dies"?
In the
movie, James Bond unlocks the door of his sleek BMW with a mobile phone
given to him by Mr. Q. It's cool! Now we can do that too.

In fact, we can now use our Palm III/V computer or infrared equipped mobile
phones to access ANY electric door lock. All you need is the unlock system
build by this tiny chip. TAPSPRING Co., Ltd. is proud to present the
single chip solution - TS1001.

The whole system is ready now, including the activation / configuration
software on the Palm OS platform. Actually, it has been working well in our
office for a long time.
