I believe the CM12 only has about 1k of memory (I'm sure I read that
somewhere) ... I have about three macros in mine and it's already about 30%
full.

Try ensuring that you clear the CM12's memory first before downloading but
I
think you quite probably have hit the memory limit of the CM12.
