Just about to order the £350 generator from screwfix.com

It says it has electronic ignition, does that mean electronic start? has anyone got one of these units?

My intention is to get it wired up so that it will automatically start up and provide the house with power in the event of a failure. So a manual starting unit is no use :/

Cheers, Des.

28 hours into a power cut (big snow in N.Ireland)

No light, no heat, NO COMPUTERS, opening garage doors manually (what's that all about!), etc etc.

Next time I have 350 quid someone stop me buying another gadget and remind me to buy a generator!!

:-(

M.
