Phil, I build quite a few of these M300's and the larger M700's, I seem to
recall the M300's do have both the N/W and modem built in, but have a
swappable bay for the floppy/CD-ROM.

Why it is that cheap though I do not know. Could it be an import? a foreign
keyboard?

By the mini PCI card do you mean a PCMCIA card? they are easy enough to get
hold off so I think this is not what you mean.

If it is genuine BUY it but because of the problems you are having with the
SWMBO/AC Unit you might won't to give the M300 to me for safe keeping????
