My Halogen lighting is a three bulb fitting with the transformer
built into the housing. The transformer consists of two rectangular
blocks around the size of a cigarette packet in total. I assume due
to the weight and look that they are wound coil transformers which I
think are compatible with the LD10. Does this sound correct?

What is the best way to check for Halogen compatibility with an LD10?

Is connecting the LD10 up to test compatibility likely to
damage/destroy all components instantly if they are incompatible?

Thanks,

Mark.
