After the discussion on pull switches for creating a momentary
version for use in a bathroom, I have now obtained a 2 way pull
switch and am attempting to break the latch as suggested by Keith.
The latching mechanism also seems to manage the turning of the switch
contacts so I am not sure how to break it.
The latch/rotator is a wheel which sits on top of the contact
mechanism between lugs. The other part of the latch consists of a
recess also with lugs.
i.e.
The "wheel" ( = spoke)

The recess (o = lug)

The contact (o = lug, O = contact)

So do I break the lugs from the recess, the wheel, or the contact?
