Yes, I will concur!  If you ever happen to acquire any of the newer 1U
server units you will be sorry you located Node 0 in the bedroom.  The fans
in those things are _very_ noisy.  I'd say 3 or 4 times louder than my
Athlon 1.33 running with case fan and CoolerMaster CPU cooler.  My current
(limited) Node 0 is in a cupboard under the stairs, which happens to be in
my garage.  I have 2 PC's and 2 1U rack mounted servers in there.  The
cupboard is behind a solid door and through a 1.5 breeze block wall.  As
soon as I open the garage door I can hear them (from about 10 feet away). 
I
doubt soundproofing would be cost effective in the bedroom cupboard.
